Due to Corona Virus the States of Michigan and Wisconsin are under a "Stay at Home" Executive Order. By law we are closed until at least April 14th, 2020 in Michigan and April 24th in Wisconsin. Our service and commissioning staff are not able to go to work but our sales and marketing staff are able to work from home. Please feel free to call or email or offices for sales help. Once we are able to re-open we will be very busy getting the boats we sold this fall, winter and spring commissioned and ready for delivery. We will certainly have a lot to do as we are losing over a month of time to get them ready. We will do our best to get them delivered as quickly as we can. Please stay safe and we wish you and your families the best during this very difficult situation. Hopefully we will all be healthy and boating with our families in the not too distant future.
The year Mark was born, his father bought his first boat, and Mark spent every childhood summer in Door County nurturing a true love of the water and an endless obsession for boating. Growing up on the waters of Lake Michigan and Green Bay, Mark logged many hours behind the wheels of boats and yachts and developed an earned respect for Lake Michigan and all the wonder she offers.
After graduating from UW-Whitewater in mid 1980’s, Mark worked his way up the sales management ladder in several industries and traveled the United States and North America. He always found time to boat all over the US.
In the early 1990’s, Mark began his boating sales career with Cal-Marine in their Racine, Wisconsin offices. Selling high-end American and European yachts provided the foundation and clients that propelled Mark into the marine industry for life. During the difficult financial times of 2008, Cal-Marine of Racine was closed and Mark started North Beach Marine in Racine to continue serving his loyal clients.
Mark’s knowledge and boating skills brought additional opportunities in marina brokerage, service and marina management to the rapidly growing company. Based at Pugh Marina in downtown Racine, sales and service expertise combines with Pugh Marina’s storage and marine services facilities to provide a full service marina experience for many customers.
Always one to look for opportunities, Mark has known and worked with Brent Reed since the late 1990’s and is excited by the opportunity to merge his sales successes on the west side of Lake Michigan with Reed Yacht Sale . "This is an excellent opportunity to combine two customer driven organizations and provide a win-win for boaters on both sides of Lake Michigan", says Mark.
Mark’s goal has always been to better serve select yachting clients who appreciate his attention to detail and personal involvement in all aspects of the boating experience. Joining forces with Reed Yacht Sales helps fulfill that niche.
